They just don't think you are that good looking but its just their opinion. Some guys have really high standards and if you don't fall within them then you're ugly when in fact you're not.

There are plenty of people who everyone considers attractive which I don't. I am probably draw to girls with more curve, but ones how aren't, aren't unattractive they just aren't my type. So it may not be a major thing about a any kind of dislike; more of a preference.

Depends, they may say it and mean they wouldnt wanna go out with you. Doesnt mean your unattractive.

As other posts have said (kind of) to my mind it's just a synonym for 'not my type'/ 'don't fancy him/her.' If I were to say that it would probably be something like, " Yeah, she's nice enough looking/ I can see why people fancy her, I just don't find her that attractive myself/ she's not really my type." Don't fret about it, it's all so subjective!!!

...depends - it can be an indirect way of saying "I don't find you good looking" or just that they don't attract them. In my experience, it tends to be the former, but not always. Technically "attractive" just means that something can attract something else, (in terms of desire, interest, etc.) but because looks play a role in attraction, that is what the meaning has become.

ditto... well... im a girl but i dont find brad pitt attractive at all. i quite like guys who aren't thin, toned and muscular! its personal opinion :smile:

all my mates have quite different tastes in guys/girls.

don't worry about it everyone finds different people attractive :smile:

The word 'Atractive' can term the fact that there is nothing that attracts you to them, It doesnt mean that you are not attractive in general, But diferent perceptions mean that your just not their type usually.

attractive is a word used for preference but its used in such a way in todays society that to not be attractive to one person makes you feel that you're just not attractive at all. I know lots of people who dont find me attractive, but my rather fantastic boyfriend things im gorgeous so its all personal ya know.
