What do people think of this novel? Did it give any of you guys a craving for oranges, or is it just me?

Probably just you! :p: I can't really remember it now, because I read it on holiday with mates (probably not the best idea!) but I do remember being very impressed. The religious aspect was dealt with extremely well, I believe.

Never read it.

Unless it involves swords, dragons or lots of battle scenes I doubt I will either.

Boo hiss Jeanette Winterson!!! i had to do coursework on this book! If you love allegorical digressions and plenty of them read it. Personally I felt like flinging myself out of the window. The words 'the brown pebble of choice' alone make me shudder.
