Scared.

I left home in a bad and sudden way after an argument with my parents but now we get on really well and i am at home a lot altho i dont live there. i am about to move into a flat with my boyfriend, which is something i have really wanted and am excited about. its only 10 mins from home, but i am starting to feel home sick for the first time, despite really wanting this. i know i could never return to home, so i feel confused? any other views?

Just make sure you keep up the home visits, you will be fine, leaving home had to happen sometime didnt it! You'll feel fine in a few weeks, and real independent in addition to feeling like a "real" adult in the wide world.
If your that excited about it, then move in with him. Your moving into a place near them, and are bond to feel homesick, especially now your getting on, but sooner or later you will adapt to your new way of living.

i d move in with my boyfriend rather than my parents, since you ll be living near them, then u can go visit often. when u happen to be present on a crappy moment, u will feel so glad u left. was the same for me!! i moved out when i was 16!

Why can't you return home ?? Once I'm done with uni I'm probably going back home and stay there for a while. Screw living on my own and that bs.

I left home last June when I went on study leave for exams. I moved in with my bf, and we've been living together since then and are now buying the flat we're currently renting. I felt rather homesick at times but my bf has been very understanding. It's not like it's far, you're only going to be 10 minutes away!! I'm an hour and a half away and still see my family about once or twice a month. And in between, there's email/phone.

I moved in wth my boyfriend in July - of course its scary , you're moving away from the safety net of your parents. Also, you'll have to think about running your own home. Its a step everyone makes sometime in life, and to be honest, i think it was thebest decision of my life. Im far more independant and a lot more mature for the experience.
If you really want to do it, go for it, cold feet is natural. Also, remember that whatever happened between you and your parents, they'll always be there for you if things go wrong.
