Since a couple of months ago, ive noticed my hair on the sides, above my ears, has 'thinned' out, there not toal bald patches, but the hair look very thined out and spaced, i can see my skin through the hairs pretty easily.
Is there anything i can do to increase my hair growth, or atleast preserve what ive got left of it.
the thing is, i used to hair nice medium sized hair, however the last few months i been doing a shorter hair cut, a size 2 all over (basically my hair was pretty short 1/2 cm), but when i let it grow a bit, like now (im at about 1 1/2 cm), i can notice that one side isnt growing, and is pretty obvious and bit embarrasing.
should i avoid future short hair cuts, although they make the thin side look 'normal' because my hair would be short all over
A shorter hair cut may well make hair look thinner and show a lot of skin though it.
You may also not be suffering permanent hair loss in these areas as it is very rare for hair just above your ears to be the first hair to start to fall out during normal hair loss. In fact very few people lose this hair at all (normally you start at your air line on your forehead and then around the crown of your head.
If you are in fact loosing hair it could just be a medical condition which can be treated. I believe stress and things can cause hair loss. Maybe see a doctor if you are unsure for a diagnosis or tests.
Ditto. It sounds like some medical condition. It's definately not hair thinning naturally because if it was it would either be your crown or temples and/or hairline.
