i respect ur beliefs and views, howeve ri do not agree with them. u thought that this htread was to discuss each toher beliefs etc and that is wot i am doin.

i do not judge people on sex lives. if i did i wud probably only have about 3 friends.

It's a no hard feelings smile...I was arguing against how you posted your opinions not what they were or the person who held them.

America is so odd sometimes, its the largest economy in the world yet it still holds to some really old fashoined beliefs. Especially the southern states who are against homosexuality and sex before marriage.

Personally I think they need a wake up call, they're so narrow minded. It's the individual's choice, not the states
oh jeez.

I don't think that people should have sex before marriage really. Although, if it is a long term serious relationship and you want to marry the person, and you both feel the same way then that is ok. That is how it is with me and my boyfriend- we waited 2.5 years and we have now been going out for over 4 years and i think it will last forever- we love each other and we both want to be together forever- and we are going to make it work. I think that ideally you should only ever sleep with one person in your whole life. That is the way it is meant to be. Sleeping with someone is not a decision to be taken lightly- you have to know that that person is the one for you- you have to choose them as your life partner. This is the aspect that should be stressed more to younger people. We both know that it may be difficult, with uni and jobs etc but we are both confident that we will still be together in 10, 20, 30, 50 years time!!
thats not how guys think im afraid. enjoy as much of it as u can before u hit 40.

I can't imagine the sex between a couple of virgins in their late 20's on their wedding night being particularly memorable.

I'm not promoting promiscuity or saying I am myself. I'm just saying as long as they are responsible it is harmless and none of our business.
I imagine it would be pretty memorable for both parties, I just don't reckon it'd be very enjoyable. Every one always says the first time is terrible, even the first time with someone new is quite bad.

But then to make your wedding night sex particularly memorable, and not just like every other night you'd really have to go all out, put out all the stops!

Sex before marriage is common practice, the point is in todays modern society to never cheat once your married, that I could not forgive.
so are you trying to say its ok to cheat if your in a relationship that isnt marriage?

I don't think that was the point that was being made, I think it was meant to be that cheating is a bigger concern in modern society, and hence modern marriages than sex before marriage is.

Absolutely.

Why is everyone stuck with these Victorian sexual hang ups?
the victorians didn't have sexual hang ups! They were terrible for sex and scandal lol! Have you not seen some of the "home made porn" that the people used to do - old fashioned scenes of man and wife, or girlfriend and girlfriend etc doing lude things I saw one I can't repeat but lets just say in one of them i hope the mother didn't kiss her chldren with that mouth lmao!!

theyr not. its just morals, and the fact they dont want to betray their other half.

whatb is the point in involving urself in other people if one, u want to go with other people, and two if ur partner isnt satisfied with u and feels the need to go with others!?
