Yes it's fine. And if you are both intelligent adults and don't want anything more to happen then it won't.

No not atall. i sleep in the same bed as my girlfriend all the time, and we're not having sex, and wont be for a while.
BUT make sure that you both agree on what stage of the reatioship you are at. You do not want your gf to go to bed with you thinking that you want sex with her when u actually dont.

Yeah, okay. Well, thing is we're both, um, quite, "open" about things so talk a lot about sex, we both really want each other but he's promised to behave himself as I want to wait until I know him better..I just don't know whether or not I'll get all flustered if he tries anything more and just go with it. Basically, it comes down to not trusting myself enough! I know though that sleeping with someone (actually sleeping +some) isn't a great way to start a relationship.

I've done it and it really is nice just to have cuddles without the sex sometimes
its possible!!

If you have spoken to him about it, and he says that he is happy for you both not to have sex yet, then that should be ok. make sure you can trust him aswell as trusting yourself, and if you do, then it will be fine :-)
Falling asleep with someone can be really nice but be sure you won't get freaked out. Certain 'reflexes' can't be controlled when asleep.
haha morning glory!

In your opinion, is it possible for a man and a woman who really fancy each other to share a bed and just cuddle, sleep, nothing more? Just asking, in terms of very early days in a relationship..is it a bad idea or not?

oh it's definately possible! when me and my boyfriend first got together, i used to say over at his house because me and his sister were best friends.. anyway - when she had gone to sleep, i used to sneak into my boyfriends room, and get into bed together and just talk for hours.. eventually falling off to sleep.. it was so romantic and it really helped us to bond more in the first few weeks of our relationship.

i would definately suggest it because it just makes things more simple and more easy... whey!

haha! yes, my boyfriend twitches in his sleep.. that was scary first night i found out lol!

(unless you meant like getting hoooooorny... :P)
I have done it many times.

Just watch out if alcohol's involved, I've never managed just a cuddle when that lubricants involved.
