eating healthily malarkey

its drilled into us constantly that we have to
exercise,
get our sleep,
not drink
not smoke,
eat fruit and veg,
not eat processed foods,
no salt,
and no fizzy drinks

and to my amazment it bloody works!!

i havn't been out drinking in a couple of weeks, so therefore i've slept properly, for the past five days i've eaten my 5 portions of fruit n veg, and i've been swimming and running at least 3 times a week and i feel fantastic!!!!

its just suddenly hit me, im not as stressed out or depressed, i feel truely deep down happy, i feel fitter and even tho i havn't lost weight which was the whole purpose i dont really care cos i feel so damn good!!!

has anyone else felt this effect?? or am i just being drugged on the sly, hehe! (unfortunatly not given me a sense of humour!)

I feel good after some JD and Coke to be honest. I don't really dig the healthy thing, but i might give it a go sometime soon!
I should try that.

I have insomnia/go to bed late. I oversleep/wake up around 12/1 (!). I eat crap, my skin is pale and I have bowel troubles. I'm a bit depressed/lethargic/unmotivated...my outlook is kinda bleak.

Maybe I will try a healthier lifestyle.

OMG you sound like me!!!

i started this whole thing cos i've always not slept very well and i've started a job where i have to get up early and i find it sooo hard. i make my self go 2 bet at about 10 ish unless i've been training wen im hyper after anyway.

THEN i've been really really spotty so thought ahhh veggies and cleaning my skin propery and its basically just adding things in one at a time.

should try it at least wat do u have to lose!!!!
When I went vegan I noticed how healthy I felt. I felt healthy when I was a vegetarian, but it was amazing what cutting out dairy and eggs did to me.

I don't eat excess amounts of salt and I don't drink alcohol. I also try and drink de-caffinated coffee... So I have a boring life really, lol.

Well 5 cans of beer and a large pizza and wedges didnt make me feel great. I know that changing my diet and cutting down (not sure about cutting out exactly) on the old drinking would benefit me greatly.

I think its commendable how you're striving for a healthy lifestyle and keeping it going. Only thing is, all the nice things in life are bad for you, apparently
