why are there so many anonymous posts on here? i dont understand why so many people feel like they have to hide their identity!

Because this is H&R, and people here talk about personal subjects.
Perhaps relationships/breakups with other TSR members?

So they might want to keep it anonymous, but still talk to somebody about it.

it's silly really, I started an anon thread on here a few days ago and by the end I'd divulged so many details most people probably knew my identity already.
