How do you tell someone how u feel about them?
Surely you cant just say 'i love you'
Thats way too premature and quite intimidating.
So what then? Is there a subtle way.

I've known them a few months, seen them on and off and we've become close in a generally friendly way that borders on the physical way.
With that in mind, i know they like me, but i want to 'make a move' as it were.
But despite how certain i am, its way too early to come on so heavily, so how do i approach this?

Come on more lightly then, maybe with a hint that you are someone what more heavy, but not so much so as to be a deterrent. Play it so you can go in further and reverse.

My guess being that i should try being a bit more forward, then each time after give it room to breathe before trying again.

My meaning is that if the reaction is that she is taken back, reel it in a bit, if she takes to it go for it more. You need to create tension though, so don't come on open. Play games with her by getting interested and the randomly pulling back, it will make her more attracted to you.
