I have been looking at that, spring gardens and the old firestation. However spring gardens has no more classic ensuite rooms left :frown:

What are you going to be studying?

I'll be studying midwifery at RGU

How about you?

I'm going to be studying dentistry at the Foresterhill campus, so it will be quite far from the dental school as are all the halls :frown:

Ah that's not so good! :frown: Do you drive, or will you be using public transport?

I do drive, I wouldn't mind driving as there is parking at both the halls, but I heard there is no parking at the dental school, so will probably have to be the bus or walk if the weather is good

Are you deffo set on the mealmarket?

Yeah that's the same for me - will bus it or cycle to RGU campus, but will park the car in the Mealmarket carpark.

Yeah, got my room booked for Mealmarket

There's no parking directly on site for the dental school but the roads surrounding are pay and display (£2 a day) and there's a really good parking spot just around the back of the park and tennis courts if you're going to be in early. If you're going to be spending time at the Polwarth building then the Co-op at the Cornhill library site has free parking and is only 10 minutes walk away.

OP, Mealmarket Exchange is pretty good, a couple of friends of mine have stayed there. Some really good things, if you don't already know, it's right next to the Morrisons, handy for the union and there's a number 1/2 bus stop just across King Street that'll take you right up to the RGU campus.

I'm in the old fire station with friends just now... we are moving to mealmarket next year
The problems we have had.. also a wet room is the worst invention ever! haha they say they are going to 'up grade' them but i doubt they will.
