First of what do you know about networks? Do you want to go into detail such as the client server model, the layer model, or do you want to go into detail such as routing methods?

Do you know the differences between peer to peer, client server, LAN, WAN, MAN etc?

1. A network is a collection of computers/communicatio devices which are linked together

2. Better security, files located on one central server

3. LAN is local area i.e just office wide or maybe college/school wide. MAN is Metropolitian area network which is what universities have. WAN is wide area i.e the internet.

4. A hub is a device that connects all the computers together electronicaly. It can act as a switch or router.

5. A gateway is the connection to the outside world i.e the internet

6. A protocol is just a set of rules required for communication such as TCP/IP the language the internet talks on

7. A network adminstrator makes user accounts, maintains the system etc.

8. You can download music legaly as longs as you have copyright permison to do so i.e the music is royalty free.

Or you can download music that you have purchased a legal copy of.

And you can buy music online for downloading.

You actually can't anymore. Apparently the latest copyright laws forbid this. Madness.

www.apple.com/itunes is a legitimate source for MP3s though.
