transfer to year 2 UCL law

Hi

im wondering if it's possible to transfer to UCL law after your first year? i've heard that it's possible to transfer to soas 2nd year, but not sure about UCL.

soas' conditions were that you had to do very well in your first year and it has to be a relatively good uni i think.. assuming you did your first year at notts and then felt like a transfer in your 2nd yr to UCL, what would your chances be?

thanks!

I don't think that UCL accept transfers to Law. They can easily fill all of their places with people who apply the first time around.

Found this on UCL Faculty of Laws FAQ
"Can I transfer to UCL from a law degree course at another University?

No, UCL does not admit any transfer students into any stage of our LLB degree courses. This is because our LLB programmes are linear, not modular, and students must pass examinations at the end of the first year in order to proceed to the second. Nor can we give credit for previous modules passed at other institutions. All applications must be made via UCAS for enrolment at the beginning of year one for the full three- or four-year degree course. All applicants are subject to the same rigorous entry requirements: three grade A passes at UK A-level or international equivalent, reflecting the intense competition for the limited number of places available."
Kingston, Brunel and SOAS accept transfers to second year........i think Westminster does aswell

What's with ressurecting a year-old thread? :hmmm:
Lol well no offence but I don't think someone at Nottingham would want to transfer to Kingston...
I was gonna quote from the website but bryan beat me to it!
Heard of someone who transferred from Cambridge to Plymouth. I can understand it.
