Doing a sandwich year in America?
I'm currently in my first year of a 4 year Computer Science BsC course, and I'm only really interested in doing the sandwich year if I can get a placement in America, but I'm not really 100% sure how I would go about finding one yet. Just wondered if anyone else has had any success finding a placement abroad or knows how I should go about sorting one out.
As I said, I'm in my first year and this sandwich year would be in my third year so I have plenty of time to try and sort something out, but I assume the student loan won't cover me on that year for my maintenance? Do I just email companies saying I'm looking for a years work placement or something? (I'll word it a little better of course
).
I'll enquire more about it when I go back to uni next week since I'm still on my easter break, but I really don't know what to do or where to start at the moment so any help is really appreciated
