big mistake

ok this is gonna sound so stupid, but ive been learning to drive since november time, and over the time, i'd fallen badly for my driving instructor, he was one guy i met who i thought was really decent and really sweet, at the time i thought he liked me to cuz he was always really nice to me and had a lot in common, so i thought i was in for chance. so i stupidly txted him when i was drunk and he got really defensive and was like he's not interested and it inappropiate for me to be txing him and that he was too old and ill meet someone when i go to uni, i felt really stupid that i had got it all wrong and to make things worst i had to go to a lesson the next week where he acted like everything was completly normal. i just read all the signs wrong and ended up embaressing myself. just want u guys opinons or if anyone else has been in any simialr situations?
Sorry, what are you after? You were drunk, I'm sure he realised, and did the sensible thing; pretended it never happened. I suggest you do the same.
cant say i have but its a bit of a bummer. at least he was a decent enough bloke to just act normal and not make a big deal of it

Its better to regret something you did, then regret not doing something.
Wow, He's a nice guy.
I wonder if the term "Let's go for a ride" derived from a situation similar to this.
^^haha

god i wish i hadnt of said anything, its all a big mess and he's leaving and ill nvr see him again, i feel let down :frown:
Well you made a mistake, but i am sure you will learn.
Why do you feel "let down"? He didn't promise you anything or lead you on...you just got the wrong end of the stick that's all. He was a gent about it and probably knew how embarassed you'd be so said nothing - you should be thanking him lol

As for leaving, if he's a trainee cop anyway the driving instruction was only a sideline and he may well have given up anyway regardless of what you did or didn't do.
