Hi
Btw, Lord Byron was definately not gay, cos he had several affairs with women, one of which was with his step sister or his cousin (cant remember which) and wrote his sad feeling poetry when his friend died or summat and when he lost his lover.
any help?

if everyone else can manage to do it on their own why cant you? analyize them yourself that IS the idea - you don't need notes to help you or else you may aswell hand in someone else's work.

Byron was bisexual at the very least he certainly had gay tendencies. You are not wrong dont put yourself down. if I had all my poetry stuff here with me I would be able to give you a hand but i dont sorry so these are the best sites I could come up with that will actively help you.

Introduction to Byron and how to study him it also has a list of yahoo discussion groups on byron which might be useful.

this might be good background to the Byron

a comments page on the Byron

something for ideas

Barrett Browning
http://www.browninglibrary.org/ebrowning.htm
some info about her and her works that should be useful

Walsh

and finally

bit of biographical information

http://www.upei.ca/~english/202/victorian/crossetti.html
online criticism of her

These should give you a background to who each poet is and what their poem is about which will allow you to be able to compare and contrast them.

Asking for help is not cheating nor is reading over peoples commentaries on something as long as you dont copy it. Academics read other peoples work you know. Theres nothing wrong with asking for help.
