I like this guy......

I like this guy...but I think he likes my friend more than me (however they are not going out) and I just don't know what to do as I'm not that confident around guys and my friend keeps coming for advice about things relating to him....any advice? Has anyone been in the same situation :frown:

I don't want to hurt my friend but I also don't want to get hurt myself by telling him I like him and being rejected...then seeing them go out or something..

I have a cunning plan! Construct a bouncy castle from Tesco bags and... several hairdryers... BARE WITH ME! Then blindfold all parties in question and which one of you he lands on is the one he likes. It'll work, trust me... I saw it in a movie once. Wait... maybe I was drunk, hell if I know.

On another note... I think it is hard to make the first move in a situation like this, if it is his decision then your friend has less group to get upset if she really likes him. I don't think there is any harm in a little competition but I don't think you want to look into it too much as it could get too complicated.

Maybe try talking to your friend about it and see how she really feels about the guy... I was in a similar situation but it turns out the guy actually liked me and not my friend! :smile:

I suggest you tell your friend you like him too and perhaps come to an agreement that neither of you go for him. Friends are more important than boyfriends.

I am in a similar situation to the guy that you mentioned and i have been in a similar situation to you. My advice would be to try and ket to know the guy that u have mentioned and then find out if he likes you. If he does, then you will have to think about if he is worth all the potential grief that you could get if you go out with him.
