add p onto each of the parts:
p^2 + p(n-1) + 10p(n-1)

then multiply out:
p^2 + pn - p + 10pn - 10p

and simplify:
p^2 +11pn - 11p

and what is 'p+(n-1)' multiplied by ' p+10(n-1)

multiply out small brackets:
(p + n - 1)(p + 10n - 10)

multiply out totally:
p^2 + pn - p + 10np + 10n^2 - 10n -10p - 10n + 10

simplyfy:
p^2 + 10n^2 + 11pn - 11p- 20n + 10
