Hi all,

I've got a German Speaking exam tomorrow and am midst of writing my script for it and then will memorise it tonight so this advice I need is pretty urgent!

It's topic is the environment and I would just like to know if anyone has/knows any good resources or websites or sentence structures/example phrases which I can use to get that A* tomorrow on the environment

Thanks in advance!

And also, a point which I forgot, the questions are going to be:

-what do you think about some global environmental problems?
-what do you think about some environmental problems in your town?
-what do you/your family do, which is not environmentally friendly?
-how do you/your family do their bit for the environment?
-what are your suggestions for what you/you people could do to be more environmentally friendly?

I hope this clears up some issues with what I'm looking for in terms of helpful resources and phrases

Thanks very much! I think the vocab and the Blog are really useful

Would you, or anyone else, know of any specific phrases to use in a speaking exam (environment related or not) that the examiners would like to see for the top grade?

Hm, if you want to impress those guys ...

Interdependenz = interdependency
Multikausalität = something having several reasons as opposed to Monokausalität (only one reason), e.g. global warming is multikausal (adjective) because the reasons are emissions of carbon dioxide, melting pole caps who cannot reflect the sunlight any more, deforestation which leads to less carbon dioxide being absorbed by plants etc.

Some generic phrases:

Aufgrund dessen ... = Due to this ...
... gekennzeichnet durch ... = typified by

Mh, it's really difficult to come up with phrases which I use in daily life ... they just don't come to mind

P.S. I don't know how advanced you are, so it might be that you already know some of the above words and phrases.

Thanks, these are really good I'm at GCSE level but German is my weakest subject I'm just hoping that I can get a good grade in my final ever controlled assessment.

Thanks for your help though
