Bikini Area

Ive just posted this but no reply so i thought on here might help!
Ok, so basically i normally just trim my bikini area, but lately ive been considering buying the Vidal sassoon Femme fatale bikini trimmer as it is supposed to offer a brazillian stencil which is what i want but i just dont think i could go through pain with wax! If i did though, how long has your hair got to be ? Really long or if it is quite tidy would that be enough its just i think it would be more embarassing if i went beautician and she said my hair wasnt long enough! Another q, how often do you get waxed, and does the hair grow loads in between?
Anyway i was wondering if the bikini trimmer would offer complete shave basically without stubble and has anyone used the bikini trimmer? do you get a shaving rash?
Thanx in advance everybody xxx
i get mine waxed about once every 5weeks at most, the hair does take quite a long time to grow back. Umm the hair should be about 1cm long, but the longer it is the more it pulls an that hurts.
It hurts for like a split second whilst the beautician does it, but that's it, its rly not that bad.
Just go for it, its much less hassle than shaving, and it doesn't make you itch!! lol

mm waxing has never much appealed to me. i mean, i tried waxing my legs a few times.. once using strips, once using hair removal cream.. nothing seems to work. so yeah.. i wouldn't bother.
carry on trimming gurl :P

I try to get mine waxed every month the week after my period.(of course this past month I didn't have the 25 quid to get it done, so I'm a goddamn monkey...) In between I let it grow that whole month. I think that the hair has to be at least a good bit grown back to get it waxed, you should probably let it grow for a good 3 weeks. That trimmer sounds like a good idea when you're broke though, its such a pain having to wait for it to grow too!
Ha! look what I just found...

"the only thing that is strange is the endorsement by a porn star. I suppose anyone who spends most of their time spread eagle in front of a camera knows more about shaving her pubes than the rest of us. Why not buy her trimmer? At least she kept her clothes on for the box photo."

I have that trimmer, one word - s**t
this may be a stupid question....but whats the point in waxing it, if for the majority of the time its growing back....surely with something like shaving you can do it enough to stay hair free...?

Shaving the pubic area is alright for perhaps the first day... but then it grows back- and when it does it's itchy, you get ingrown hairs, and well, it grows back very quickly too. I've tried both and I think that waxing is the best. It lasts longer, and it looks much better than shaving does.
