Love Conquers All. Except...

Thanks guys.

Yeah I'm not too bothered, was just wondering really. We were together for about four months. I spose we weren't really compatible then, since she was a neat freak, almost obsessive compulsive and required planning and order just to function. If things weren't all perfect she would go mad, at me, for no reason.

Of course I'm the opposite - unorganised, can live with mess and have no particular plans at least not for my entire life like she had, it was all planned out.

Thanks  was just pondering love and how powerful or weak it really was. I doubt she really loved me anyway lol.

Anyway for another question: does anyone know where I could find a girl who would be okay, and perhaps encourage 'me'? instead of giving me loads of crap like my ex. It just seems to me that most girls are like my ex and few are like myself. Thanks.

k, you will forget her in time.. seriously.. time heals all - and when you find someone else, it heals everything faster.

How about joining some kind of writers group?

You want a boyfriend pumpkin? lol

Anyway its not about forgetting her, I just like to know why people do what they do or say what they say and it was/is my opinion that she didn't really love me (it helps the 'healing') lol.

I still need to know where to find girls like myself who just go with the moment and are carefree. I'm also of the belief that "everything will work out"

Damn, I forgot to press that anonymous button twice today :P

No one wants to go out with a bum.

Reply 25

No true... another bum might

Reply 26

No, another bum wants someone they can sponge off.

Reply 27

I don't sponge off anyone that's the entire point. I have and make my own money infrequently from various 'odd jobs' etc. So what is the problem? :P

I am not a bum, even though I own one.

Being a bum isn't neccessarily a bad thing people1 I've heard many clever things sed by these people, a lot of bums I know have ambitions beyond the average 9-5er.

This girl isn't worth it mate, basically you sound a very similar person to me! I enjoy writing and am of the philosophy that everything will fall into place, and it generally does! Although you have to remember that we are in the minority, as everyone around puts pressure on you to go to uni, get a job, etc and you will encounter girls like this - just remember, there will be someone out there who doesn't give a **** whether you have money, or if everything is planned out or whatever - these girls are sooo fun and spontaneous, I hope you meet one!

Are these girls bums too? If not, where can I find one?!  :p:

I went out with one who wasn't a bum  and it was great! She's at uni now, I don't know where to find them, hence why i'm single at the moment! Waiting for a girl who isn't uptight and more concerned about work than having a good time!

I (the OP) am male and would like to be a writer, that is my ambition. I will now get a job in the meantime. The delay/non-existence of a job before was because I was doubting and wondering about the relationship ie if I stayed here with her, I'd have to stay on the poo course I'm on.

Anyway, so true love isn't all that then if you have to have a job and uni degree beforehand? I'm a nice guy too, and considerate etc.

What course were you on and where?

I think most people would be sympathetic to whatever your career ambitions were, so long as you got a degree first, so that if it didnt work out you could get a reasonable job. Alternatively it would also be more attractive to most people if you had a steady not very demanding job that gave you enough time to write - ie teachers and academics have long holidays, and though they have work during term time, it really isnt that much compared to an investment banker, so if you had drive you could get writing done during term too. Or perhaps you could become an Anglican priest
