So basically, I was wondering which two players do you think would work really well together.

I'd like to see Mata + Van Persie play together. I think they're perfect for each other.

actually, i'd like to see van Persie and Van Persie play together, but science isn't that developed yet xD

Who'd you like to see play together? You can have a trio if you so wish.

Rooney + VP. Rooney behind RVP.

    Kompany + Vidic

Torres and Drogba. They need time to develop a seriously fatal attacking threat.

mata is close to my favourite footballer at the moment.

he's like a junior version of iniesta.

Nothing will come close to Cole and Yorke in 99.

As for today's players, Koscielny and Kompany.

Would love to see Van Persie and (peak) Henry. I guess it would be very similar to the Bergkamp/Henry relationship. Still would be amazing nonetheless.

    RVP and Cisse/Aguero. :coma:

People think that RVP is an out and out striker when he's actually not. Throughout his career he's played off the main striker (sort of similar to Rooney), and linked up with the midfield beautifully. It's why he still provides so many assists even though his job now is to grab goals. To see him with a competent goal scorer again, which Arsenal currently lack outside of RVP, would be awesome. Although Rooney is a wonderful player, I wouldn't really like the dynamic with Rooney and RVP because their preferred positions are similar.

    Kompany and Vidic

Yaya Toure and Ramires. Imagine the distance they'd cover in a game with their charges.

Doesn't Aguero play like a CF as well?

Not really sure. I saw him more as a clinical scorer than anything, but I could be wrong.

Kompany and Vidic is a good shout.

As a Newcatle fan I can't wait to see Marveux as part of a front three.

    Marveux---Cisse---Ben Arfa

    That would be soooooooo good.

Rooney and Van Persie. Strangely I see Rooney as the further forward of the two. You might disagree tbh.
But tbh, imagine a front 2 of Messi and Ronaldo. 130 goals between them. More than any 2 prem teams combined aside from the top 3.

I get what you're saying about Rooney and RVP.

But Messi would end up kicking Ronaldo to death as he does a stepover too many instead of passing it. [I like Ronaldo, but he is a showboater]

But not as good as Thiago Silva + Chiellini.
