Maths exam IGCSE - HIGHER TIER - PAPER 3H AND PAPER 4H POST DISCUSSION.

The last answer was 2.5 cm and the probability answer was 0.75. I'm not really in any doubt about either of these.

I think the grade boundaries will go up severely after that paper - were there any difficult questions at all? I'll still be fine though.

No, it asked for his average speed on the way back, not during the entire trip.

no from sam's house back to his house was 40km and time was like 1.25 or something so 40/1.25 is your answer s=d/t

hopefully not

considering paper 1 was much harder than paper 2 the average grade boundary will probably sit where they usually do ..... 80-82% over the two papers..... I asked the head of maths at our school and he said that A* for paper 1 alone would have been around 78% and paper 2 around 84%.... so around 80-82%

not necessarily. 4h was easier than 3h but it wasnt that easy to take grade boundaries too high
Reply 952
Lol I reckon I got 98 on that paper haha
Reply 953
The paper was a joke, they didn't put in any questions that required extensive thought, should have made it at least as hard as 3H
Reply 954
does anyone know what they think the grade boundaries for an A* will be this year?
Reply 955
There are so many mixed opinions... Some people say 3H was hard, and some people say 4H was hard? I struggled with 3H, but I was alright with 4H but I thought that might've just been because I was stressed?
I don't know? Was 3 or 4 harder?

why dont you shut up, if your so amazing at maths then why post unnecessary comments making other people feel bad about themselves. Both exams were extremely difficult. If you found it such a 'joke' maybe you should of taken your maths gcse early. Idiot
