ugly is something you can't bear to look at, deformed or just dirty and skanky. There's a big difference between ugly and just 'not attractive'. There are probably fewer truly ugly people in this world than perfectly beautiful

no thats just dirty and unfortunate lack of caring for urself. why do blokes describe (and gals) perfectly fine lookin people as 'mingin' or 'ugly' wen really they r not?

Isn't beauty all related to a special ratio (1:1.4? or something). That is most pleasing to our eye? I think I saw it on one of those programmes with the bloke with the moustache and glasses (Winston?) so it could be completely inaccurate.

I wouldn't call a person with a nice personality ugly if they weren't attractive.

But someone who is has an ugly personality is always ugly, pretty or not.
