You can do it but I doubt it will stop your bleed. If your gona try and change the time of your bleed you usually need at least at week for it to work.
Erm, read the booklet in your packet. I think you are supposed to have either a 7 day break or nothing at all.

sexyke (oo er) is right.. it will happen now whatever you try to do.. :s-smilie: sorry!
i have done that before.. when I started working weekend shifts i shortened my break so I would start bleeding on monday intead of friday (just because I couldn't cope with period pains at work) and the doc said that was fine, as long as you shorten the break and lot lenghen it (as that could cause you to ovulate, and you don't want that).

But as for stopping your period in 2 days?? I'm not sure hun. It certainly won't hurt to try. Just remember that your start day will have changed and you period will come earlier next month.

And if you try and you don't stop bleeding in time.. it won't matter. Whats a bit of blood between friends???
No! just dont do it! One does not want to risk anything, besides, u should've stopped your period by the time he gets to you AND during the 7 day break you are actually still protected till the day you restart the pills, so have care free, blood free whatever it is your gonna do with him. Dont mess up your hormonal cycle more than it can lead to thrush which IS NOT NICE I tell you. best of luck and have a nice time with your man! xx

she doesnt have a hormonal cycle at the moment - its suppressed due to the pill.

its fine to shorten the break, just never lengthen it. by the time he gets there it will be day 6 of your break anyway, are u usually still bleeding by then?

i'd do it, there's more of a chance of your bleed stopping if you do start your pack now then there is if you don't, so what's there to lose?

hmmmm if you haven't taken ur pill for 4 days, I guess you should start bleeding soon (or is it just me who starts bleeding after 3 days, sorry for the gory details)otherwise I don't think starting a new packet should be a major problem, ur just gonna start ur period earlier next time! I'm sure u'll have fun anyway, but damn I understand ur frustration
I have to agree with pumpkin7 i start on the 4th day, maybe different pills do different things. depends wot the OP is on and when they start
Hey, shortening is ok, not sure that it'll work though, never tried! Chances are in two days it might not stop the bleeding, so make sure he's aware of that. And maybe you can deal with a little blood - it shouldnt be too bad by then. Hope it helps

tbh, i really wouldn't bother trying.. it will only disrupt you next month.

i know you are probably one horney cow :P haha.. and you really want to shag, but it's going to get messy and probably be real painful if you do it while 'on'..
why painful?

because you are all bleedy.. and stuff... :s-smilie: it sometimes already hurts with period pains.. you don't need something prodding it all around..

But sometimes it can make the pain better; it can go either way!!
