I think I'm doing an edexcel module, its on the British Empire 1870-1980, so we cover decolonisation. Its my least favourite history module, mostly because we have to skim over so much, but also because it focuses on military/economic things which I don't like so much. How about you?

I'm pretty sure we're doing the same one

I agree with you, i don't like economics too much, but it is generally interesting!

Hey

Anyone studying this module on the Edexcel A Level syllabus?

How are you finding it?

I'm doing one. We have to cover decolonisation in British colonies. We have covered Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Rhodesia. I quite enjoy it, but our coursework question is very tricky!

What countries do you cover?
The exam is easier because you have about 5 turning points to remember and about 3-4 factors on the long questions - try to do tables on each point or factor and cover each angle with evidence/areas of importance etc etc - I liked the subject lots, but couldn't quite get the hang of the exam so it was my lowest, but the other modules made up for that!
