This earliest post I can find on this forum was posted on 12-10-2001 and back then

- Most people were Guests not Members
- Most people used their full real name not a made up name
- d didn't exist as a member

Can anyone find any earlier ones?

Back then the forum was just alink to some news BBS groups, and so the "real names" were just what people had entered as their address book entry in their news client. there was no seperate forum, there was no "members", anyone could post.

Yep but I think all the older ones have been deleted and this is the oldest one that still exists.

G'day elpaw my friend. The move was great, I actually spent most of my time with a pair of Irish backpackers who had been here 8 months but go home in 2 weeks. Already going to miss them, even if I could barely understand a word they said. Apparently the accent of those in the North of Ireland is even worse lol. Sadly, family committments have me back home again until second semester. I'll be a pro mover if I keep this up though
