when was the 1st time u felt "love"

...just the feeling that you're in love with someone, not necessarily a relationship, maybe you just kept it to yourself or talked with best friend about it... the 1st experience of this emotion.
(and i dont mean the love you have for your family etc)

Well have had several crushes. But properly feeling like you're 'in love' and wishing you could marry that person and have their children? This January.

12, I think. I was absolutely besotted! But we were together for one month and I realised he was a total jerk... didn't stop me pining for him though! Ah, young love :tongue:

But if you want 'real' love, probably when I was 14-16. Pretty much the same story, only we never dated and the emotions were much MUCH more intense.

ahh my first love i remember that piece of heart ache quite well.
I was 13 she was 17/18 and her name was siobhan, there i was a scrawny 13 year old english kid living in roscommon ireland. She was in her last year of secondary school when i went into my first. She was truly beautiful, long blonde hair and blue eyes (and at 13 thats all i really noticed). I followed her round like a lost puppy including buying her xmas and easter pressies. When i hit fourteen i even sent her a letter professing my love (or something like that). needless to say she turned me down.

I have to say she put up with it with extreme good grace and regarded me with tolerant friendship rather than out and out scorn. she probably laughed about it with her mates but never to my face and i thank her for that it took me 3 years to get her out my system though in truth do you ever truly get over your first love, even now 11 summers have passed since that fretful age of 13 somethimes i still remember her with an odd ache. It goes quite quickly but still its there. i havent seen her in about 6 years though and its unlikely il ever meet her again in this lifetime as we are in separate countries.

but hey life goes on

I was 15 and it was unrequited.
I couldn't sleep or eat properly for weeks.
It was hell.

But I got over it, and we're still friends.

15..and was completely blown over...tht too wid my best friend. but was seriously prep for exams, and had to take a decision...so never proposed...but soon it got converted to very good friendship...really close now...(she's got a Bf now...i'm happy for tht..)

ryt now im in love with my old english teacher...im not going to make a move on him which would jeopardise everything, not that stupid to that!
but i fancied a waiter last year on holiday and i fell in love ( im was 15 then....and am still 15! lol)

in Yr 11, GCSE's. Ahh! what a time that was.
loved this girl, got on well, come 6th form she went off to a different 6th form to do acting. Was heart broken :frown:
