I was rejected and I'm an overseas applicant. So were all my friends from different countries.... and we've all got at least 5As. But we've given up caring a long time ago lolz.. it doesn't really matter now.

A good point, it really doesnt matter any more. I'm just curious, thats all.

maybe tuition fees is having a knock on effect.. if they predict a massive increase in applicants next year then maybe fewer people this year are deferring to next year therefore greater competition

exactly my point earlier. we know admission fees arent affecting this year, but some panic may have got into people.
this also explains why they were pestering about deffered entry: do they pester every year?
