Student loan decrease in 3rd year

So, my loan has gone down by around £600, and my dad's salary hasn't changed- even gone down as he went part time. I sent off a current income assessment form and they declined it, so I want to know if anyone else's loan has gone down in their third year?

I've heard that it might be because in years 1/2 the loan is meant to cover your summers, and because 3rd years graduate before summer, the loan isn't needed. Is that a plausible reason? If not, I really don't understand why I'm not getting as much as my other years at university.

Yeah, that's right. You don't get money to cover the summer in your last year.

Yes, it is normal to get less in your final year.
