depends, I can be quite blatent and chatty/forward to let them know.
or other times I'd get one of my friends to make themselves useful If I can't be bothered to make any moves.

Got to get talking, but I tend to exaggerate aspects of my personality, so I'll tend to either come across as really funny and nice, or a complete twit-with-an-a, when in reality I'm somewhere in between.

I usually try and get their attention a lot, usually by talking to them, coming up to them a lot. Stuff like that.

Hmm, depends.

Usually, I'm quite shy, but I try to make conversation - just the usual, really.

When, I'm drunk, then it becomes another matter, I think. I'm generally loud, confident (perhaps too much so), and, I'm the funniest person in the world! ( :rolleyes:

)

Even more perversely, it was the latter approach that proved the most successful in the past! Although, I don't think, I acted in any particular way with my girlfriend, just reacted to what was said, and tried to be normal, so, who knows?

Shy!!

For someone I don't know very well I'll sometimes hover around the area where she is in the hope of seeing her and making eye contact. Then I'll come up with any excuse I can to go chat to her.

and, knowing me, I'll not get round to asking for her number or asking her out.

I think you'll find that most guys who are very brash and upfront are actually compensating for an inner insecurity. Most, however, are equally anxious about girls as girls are about boys.

Well, that sounded good in my head, but actually I have no clue how anxious girls are about boys. Because I am a boy anxious about girls. :biggrin:

I would express interest by looking at them more intensely than normal and smiling more often, and my face would probably brighten up noticeably if I saw somebody I was interested in. I would also "somehow" be around them quite often :wink:

When you're dancing and a guy starts knocking into you ( a lot) is this a good sign i.e he likes you or a bad one (youre just getting in his dancing area?!)

I don't know. Sounds like the sort of thing someone who likes you but is totally clueless would do... or someone who gets a kick out of knocking into people.

EITHER:
1. Like an idiot. (it's uncontrollable in most cases)
2. I Try talking to them, trying to appear friendly and funny. I attempt to avoid generalisations -they get you into trouble. Don't talk about myself alot unless laughing at myself in some way to show i'm not arrogant or bigheaded. I just try to be the nicest guy in the world basically. hence why i fail and end up acting like an idiot because it's physically impossible for me.lol

either he likes you if so then show some reply, or you may be in his dancing area lol. If so move out of the way :biggrin:

I'm sure you can tell, just show some signs that your interested in him and see what he does. He is probably interested but hasn't got the guts to do anything to you incase you really dont like him or you make him feel stupid
