I managed to speak to someone from the gdc equivalent in Spain and they have said:

The UEM course is recognised in the EU, EEA and Spain.

Recently the awarding qualiication was changed from the titulo... To grado...

The Univeristy must contact gdc UK to update their records in order for the UEM dental course to be accepted once students have graduated. The Spanish dental authority do Not do this.

I hope that allays anyone's concerns

I guess that's kinda good news! But I think I'll feel much better when the gdc in uk confirms this haha!

According to the person that emailed me the forwarding email from Rohit it appears that UEM is in the process in getting that verified. Either way, as the Spanish education authority made the name change regarding the awarding dental qualification throughout the whole of Spain, I'm confident we will all be fine when graduating. Gdc UK just needs to update records

UEM doesnt offer student accommodation. I'm going through estate agents myself and searching for flats. The school is suppose to help with finding flats but I don't like waiting on people to help me especially when they are busy themselves so am doing it by myself.

Did you do all the entrance exams in view to apply next year in the UK?

Goodluck in your results.

By the way does anyone know much about the medicine course in UEM? Is it similar requirements and is it taught in English?

For medicine have you considered Malta? It's free tuition for all EU students bt you would be required to sit an entrance exam in biology and chemistry next may. I can send you the syllabus for what you are tested on if you want?

Dentistry at Malta is considerably more difficult to get into than medicine. There ar only SIX places for international applicants. You can apply for medicine and dentistry on the same application however stating your preferred choice and this is not held against you.

It costs 90 euros to apply but tuition is free.

Has anyone else received an email from UEM saying they want to have a skype interview. I got the e-mail today and am worried this may mean my place isn't guaranteed even though I have accepted my provisional offer
