weird bruising

Ok ive always bruised really easily and been to the docs but everythings fine but since ive been with my boyfriend ive been gettin weird bruises on my upper thighs like little ones but loads. i dont really know what im asking but would it be possible that they are from sex coz ive never slept with any1 til him and now they've appeared? No we dont go at it in weird positions or anything. has anyone got similar probs, coz its kinda trivial but im kinda worried.

very odd. and these are only on your thighs? no where else?
are they purple, and then go yellow etc like normal bruises do?
and if you press them do they hurt, and do they go pale?

well i get bruises everywhere but more on my legs esp upper thighs, the look and feel like normal bruises just loads of little ones.

thats wierd. how long since they started appearing? is it just the once that this has happened?

i bruise ridiculasly easily. you should have seen the mess i was in the day after i met my curret bf :colondollar:

never had small thigh bruises from sex tho. could it be that u have been carrying something big thats an awkward shape? cos that usually how i get those kinda marks.

The smaller bruises are fairly recent but ive bruised easily for ages now, i dont think there is any point in going to the docs as ive had blood tests and there seems to be nothing wrong.

i wouldnt worry then. as long as they arent being replaced when they start fading. *sympathy* its not nice to have to think about what you wear to hide bruises or have to explain that it isnt your bfs fault,

Yes they are probably from sex, is your boyfriend slim? I used to go out with a very slim guy and got bruises from his hips.... I bruise easily too! Thats probably all it is, I wouldnt worry about it :smile:

They could also be from his fingers, if he's been gripping a bit too tightly while he's down there. I once had a perfect set of fingerprints, five on each thigh.

are u definitely sure that you havent done them without realising? I know it sounds silly but its so easy to forget bumping into stuff - I used to have bruises all over my thighs and it took me months to realise it was exactly where the fridge doors in the bar i worked in hit me on the leg!

again my post has been removed, please provide me with an EXPLANATION. IDIOTS, this is really starting to annoy me. people who have HIV often expereince unexplained bruising.

rubbish.
when faced with a patient with bruising, HIV is not on the list of things to look for.

in the case of this lass, who has had blood tests which showed nothing, i would be inclined to go with 'you just naturally bruise easily' because the blood tests (if indeed she went for them specifically for this problem) would have checked out the most like suspects - low platelet count, lacking von willebrand factor, haemophilia trait etc.

No he's not particuarly thin, oh well ill just take the i bruise easily, nothing i can do view, thanks people anyway.
