Since we have sub catorgeries for everything now what is the point in this section?

Can we use it took in detail about the different types of drain covers that were made in 1896?

Perhaps the academic page should be made the main page, seeing as it is UK-learning.

What’ the main forum for? Well, it’s a delicate combination of wit, debate, and Claire expressing her latest outrage.
Why do you quote yourself in you sig?

Random banter, I huess. To be honest, a few of the threads on the main forum could go in the sub-forums, e.g the bono for mod thread etc.

Since this is the home/main page, it means that most people should be able to see the threads here more often, even though most of them are crap.

The extra sub-forums are going to make more work for the mods too, - as they are constantly having to shift stuff from the wrong forums.

Bono's threads should technicaly be in the UK Learning one. Oh well who cares, I do think its getting a bit daft with far too many sub forums though. At this rate we will end up with 50 of the damn one legged obnos.

its a shame that we keep having to create endless sub forums because the amount of pointless members and spammers go continually undealt with. the 'main' forum has been sacrificed as a general chat area, introducing a culture of idiotic threads and short-lived nonsense, that is a turn off to a number of people who came to the forum for quite the opposite reasons. it wont be long before this is swamped with 10 line signatures, talk of 'who's fitter' and more bono spam. tackle them instead of sidelining the rest.
