Maybe you have high blood pressure. Does the red patches under your eyes feel as though they are burning up. And when you sit next to the fire it gets worse because capillaries expand when you get hot.

I'd get your blood pressure checked, your mum may be able to do it.

Yea I'l ask her tomorrow, will the hbp still show up when the patches arn't there?
Do the patches come and go then? I had something that sounds very similar and the doctor also thought it was an allergy. Mine was treated with steroid and antibiotic cream and went very quickly. Couldn't ever figure out the cause though so deduced it was likely to be due to stress.

Yea they come and go and get worse if I sit in front of the fire. They will probably be gone by the time I get to the doctors.
