Okay, probably no reason to panic or anything. You know those meat slices that you usually put in sandwiches or as toppings for a pizza etc that you get in Tescos etc, well, I have a pack that's been refrigerated but went off about 2 days go.
I was so hungry at ate a couple, and my stomach's feeling odd.

Sell-by dates only refer to the shelf life of a product, and it's not the same as a best before date... (That made more sense in my head, lol) so I wouldn't worry

I know what you mean, just means the product will deteriorate in taste, but still be edible. I don't bother with them to be honest, except with things like raw meat. My housemate will throw out bread if its out of date, whereas mine sits in my cupboard until its mouldy lol!

Yeah, bread lasts way longer than it says. my housemate scrapes the mould off!
the meat would have been fine, they never had use-by dates years ago, everything was just judged by appearance, so as long as it didn't look or smell gross you'll be fine. Also, shops always allow about 2 days after the use-by date usually. It's probably psychological cos you saw that it was 'out of date', so now you just think you're ill sorry i'm not making any sense.
