Bit of a turnoff when your tongue gets caught in them, I can just imagine the pain...

Braces dont really look that bad, on some people you cant even notice them at all! I used to have braces but I had them when I was younger so I guess it didnt make much difference, but just think about how good your teeth will look when they are off!

I never had braces. But i do remember when i was in lower school - how braces were the trend. Everyone seemed to have them - i was left out of it - no fair

i always feel sorry for people with braces...they often get food stuck in them without even realising! Plus when your mouth is closed you can still see little bumps through your lips Thankfully i have naturally straight teeth.

Saying that tho, i've seen a few girls who actually look really cute with braces on!

But on guys, dunno, i'm not a big fan aye

i'm biased, cuz i'm 22 and have them now, they don't come off for another couple of months ((crappy NHS, ias the reason for me having them so late)) I always remember in school the kids with braces being name called, but now I am older, noone even says anything!!, and I don't think they particularly notice. It's the inner beuty
