Is cellulite repulsive?

Just wondering what guys, or girls, think of cellulite. I have some on my legs and bum, and I absolutely hate it, and I hate knowing it's very difficult to remove. I'm a size 10, but I still have it.I hate these little fatty dimples and I really wish my skin was completely smooth. Instead it just looks awful and I hate wearing a bikini or stripping in front of my boyfriend in bright light.
Do girls, if they have it, generally hate it and would guys find it a complete turn off if their girlfriend had it.

If you're a size ten, you're not fat. To be honest, everyone has cellulite to a certain extend. If it makes you feel better, look at paparazzi pics of actresses or such, then you'll see  You know Kate from Lost? She doesn't have the nicest legs and it made me feel a whole lot better when I found out because she's gorgeous lol Erm, yeah, I'm stupid like that, sorry. I'm only a size 6, so I'm pretty skinny, but if I squeeze my thighs, they'll look sort of cellulite-sih, too. I really think it's just a female thing. As long as the dimples don't shine through your trousers or anything (seen that before !!!), it really isn't as bad

Its not too bad a turn off, I'd still shag a bird if she had it, but obviously the worse it is then the more of a turn off it is. Dont worry too much about it, we all have things we're embarassed about, the trick is not to give a *****.

I read somewhere that the best way to get rid of it.. or well prevent it.. was to cut out too much sugary crap in your diet, but if your a chocoholic like me then thats quite difficult

fake tan makes it look less obvious as well.

I know im female but ill give you my opinion anyway, when im out shoppin/ swimmin with my girly mates half of them will complain about having it but to be honest you really cant tell! So i think that just proves its more obvious to you than anyone else!

Im sure any half decent guy wouldnt give a crap if you had it and to be honest he probably wouldnt even notice anyway!

Well I personally find mine repulsive...but everyone always notices their own faults more and other people probably don't notice half as much as you might think.
I read that cellulite is like the stuffing being squeezed out of a lumpy mattress, which is quite a vile analogy if you think about it!! It's meant to go down if you drink lots of water and do concentrated exercise on that area...
i eat loads of sugar and dont really have it>> maybe il be punished when im older :frown: ohhh the things to look forwards to...

if you eat loads of sugar you'll just be fat with rotten teeth
i just asked my boyfriend what he thinks of cellulite and tried to demonstrate (eek) and he said he doesn't know what I'm talking about.

His ex (to be honest) is a bit fat and shes got loads of cellulite (im not gloating) but he still looks confused..??

Bless him. I guess he's never noticed!

i don't think many guys give a crap to be honest, girls just don't want to have cellulite to avoid bitchy comments from other girls.

To be honest if you're getting naked with a guy, they're too interested with other parts [read: boobies] of you to care. Don't let it bother you.
I'm posting anonomous cause I feel like a dumbass for asking this

what is cellulite? I keep hearing girls talking about it but I never really understood what it is

Cellulite is the 'orange peel effect' where skin appears dimpled (see here) The leg on the left has more cellulite than that on the right.

Ah, there isn't much you can do about it, so just accept it. You don't mention it in your post, but all the pseudo-scientific claims on 'cellulite reducing' creams are obviously a load of rubbish - I'd advise you not to waste your money on anything like that. Boys don't notice because they don't know what it is and besides, get distracted by other things, so you shouldn't worry about that.

You can avoid the bikini problem by buying matching bikini shorts instead - I prefer the look of shorts, and they're in all the shops at the moment & so not hard to find.

I don't know if I've got any. I probably have, but if I go and look in the mirror I'd probably only stress about it. Given its location, it's fairly easy to avoid having to look at your own bottom anyway!
