just have a laugh. You must be able to hold a conversation!
Just be yourself is the best way don't try and fake anything like trying to be all macho

pay attention to what they say, let them do all the talking and ask lots of questions. don't dominate the talking whatever you do, and they will love you for it.
listen to what they are talking about and find a common intrest.

i dissagree, if you let them do all the talking you will be that "quite kid" and no one will realy get to know you. Make sure you have a few stories that will fit into the convo - (by stories i dont mean harry potter) i mean things that have happend to you that would make an ammusing/interesting point. That way you are bound to be fine. Also have a joke or two for breaking the silence, people love you if you kill the silence. Dont be loud but do your fair share of the talking and dont say random s hit just because you need to say something or you will be labled "wierd".

I probably should have said more, but essentially what i was saying is don't dominate the conversation, but keep it lively and ask many questions about them.

If you do this then they will find you very interesting, even if you have said very little.

DO NOT try too hard and make some bad jokes, won't go down well at all.

not that they'd be bad...

Just make sure you don't say anything culturally sensitive too soon, you don't know these people yet.
