I think mine are still around, but they're not noticable. You're probably focusing on something most people wouldn't come close to being able to tell.

Oh wow I've never thought of that, I'm a part time glasses wearer but I should wear them all the time, I wear them for more time than I don't wear them though. I have contacts too but I haven't got used to wearing them all the time yet. I do get marks on my nose but I haven't noticed them staying permanently, although they're usually very obvious when I take my glasses off, my previous glasses I think were fitted wrongly because they used to irritate the sides of my nose so much that there would be a cut/ sore. I'm gonna go check my nose though now!!

Mine are quite noticeable I would say. Just wanted to know if anyone found a way of getting rid of them.

Don't worry about it, no one would really say any thing.

You only see them because you know they're there.

BTW, I've just remembered- part of the reason I had glasses marks on my nose was because the nose-pad things weren't quite correctly aligned, so they'd dig a little bit into my nose. Maybe go to your optician and see if you can sort that out?

Have a nose job.

I'm a contact lens wearer with the marks too - I really wouldn't worry because it's GUARANTEED that the only person who will notice them is you.

If they bother you, it's worth trying silicone nosepads, if you currently have hard ones - they'll change them at the opticians on the spot if you ask them. It may make a difference.

My mum's are really bad because of the weight of her glasses lenses.

I'm stopped wearing glassers in December (I'd been wearing them for quite a few years) and my marks aren't noticeable at all any longer. But I suppose it depends on a number of factors - how long you wore them, how heavy they were, did you have them on pretty tightly, etc?
