Ah, good thinking it is a bit outcasting, hadnt thought of that

I was thinking more along the lines of stuff like 'whats better for short distances, f55 or a Harrier?' for instance

My rule of thumb - if you intend to list it on your UCAS form it counts!

Why lol? That's the point of TSR - stupid threads!

Have you tried the BBC's disability messageboards? There are loads of other disabled people over there, and they're quite friendly.

good point, actually l suppose if one did require a specialist pool of advicees here would be a good place

And the whole 'l wanna ask out an able-bodied person who's really nice to me' trauma l don't think could ever be fully appreciated by anyone else

The above post proves that sometimes you need to ask questions specifically to other disabled users

A Harrier is an electric wheel-chair

At least this able-bodied person is nice to you hehe! Tis a start...much worse for a girl...mind you I got new glasses now which make me look loads more normal. (the ones in my profile pic are old :p: )

IMO theres no point persuing normality so do a me and make you disability look 'normal' in comparison to your personality

l don't, in fact sometimes l use it to my advantage. EG l have a mate who's great at joking around about my disability with me he says if l get a driving license l should race some random guy and then get out of my car going 'look, u just lost to a disabled person' I've come to think if some ppl can find fun in my disability, so can l!

In my boarding house (back at the specialist college) l was once voted 'biggest re**rd'
