If Aristarchus of Samos' heliocentric model and theories had been far more readily...

If such models and theories had been far more readily accepted and taken notice of instead of still accepting its geocentric counterparts; might things have turned out different?

Might technological advancement (by way of an accelerated increase in knowledge and awareness for example) have been much more rapid than it was in our history?

I think that technological advances happen exponentially, which is why life is advancing way more now than it ever has done. Therefore, if certain key advances had been made earlier (eg the development of industry, the idea of education for all etc.) then we would be much more advanced now than we are. Whether the acceptance of a heliocentric model of the solar system is one of those advances or not is up for debate.
No.

Most of the "Elite" and indeed people before Aristarchus had their mythologies based around the Sun being the center. Democritus among the few other first Atomic materialistis accepted a heliocentric model as well as many others, and even then throughout history up to our current time, a lot of, even most accepted a heliocentric model.

Just take a look at any Classical Greek; Republic Roman; Akkadian state Sumer scholar and you will see that all readily accepted it. It's a misconception that we've been utter imbeciles throughout all Human history and only recently have come into erudite.

Edit; this is probably more suited for the history forum.
