Forgive me - having an old carpet makes it all okay...

I just wish I could chat to some of you people after you've been through your commie/marijuana/protector-of-the-people/amoral-phase. But then I'll probably go through it myself first, before such a thing happens...

And I'm convinced that there is no hope for some of the respondents on this thread. But hey! I can live with that.
Okay, I must admit, I have to be naive to some extent. I'm not alien to the reality of politics. I was surprised you didn't mention save the dolphins along with that but you weren't far off... (no, i don't support that...)

Even if I had everything brand new and state-of-the-art thanks to our great capitalist nation, what would be your point? Society has provided such benefits and you're claiming that to be left wing brings destitution for all. An interesting generalisation. I admit that many left wing government models have had severe shortcomings, no, even blatant gaps in their ideals. That won't stop me from believing in left wing politics, there's a lot of work to be done and it has to be done to make progress.

And, ironically, my favourite colour is blue

Have you ever seen the play Reasons to be Cheerful by the way? There's a funny bit in it about buying a socialist a birthday present . It's based on a book of the same name, but I haven't read the book.
I haven't seen that play , I will look for said book though, thanks!

Acaila I deleted your family. [evil maniac laugh]. From the database that is, care to add them again, let's see if it gets the left/right thing this time.
Do I have to add myself too?

I mentioned the fact that some people are beyond hope - it was a slight oversight. What I meant to say is this: you are beyond hope.

Sorry, I failed to read the strong counter-argument in that post...

I'm a cynical and sarcastic guy in any case, but it does get fairly depressing, and I have a lot of right wing m8s...

I suggest we start up the 'Undecided' Party (hope it goes near the bottom of the cross boxes to look official!), in case anyone doesn't know who to vote for. Then we'll get elected in representing the peoples views, or the lack thereof. It could work!

    I'd vote for it certainly
I did always say I'd join the Monster Raving Loony Party though

Well, cheer up (rarely do I say that!) , a left wing future lies ahead, though probably not in this country since Labour have slid right, the Lib Dem's who can't really win have moved to their left and lord knows where the Tories are...!

I must be off now, will be hovering on these forums for many politically explosive days ahead I believe though , till results day comes and then I will be thoroughly inebriated till freshers week, then it's downhill from there...!

    Take care for now

Ooooh Edinburgh great! Coming up to the wonder that is Scotland . Well if you ever get the chance, go and see a 7:84 play. You'll love them
    What grades do you need?

I will look out for said 7:84 plays! Scotland is indeed great, have only been a few times (mainly to a freezing winter highland...) but have liked it much . I need three B's to get onto the masters course though I think it'll be more of an 'equivalent grades job'. So I'm hoping for AAC/D (that would be in Further Maths which just went awry for me!)

*copes with more 'huggles' before having to bid farewell...!*
    take care for now
    (technically i can't be a hugwhore...!)
