Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -1.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.77

I thought I was quite right wing when it came to economic issues. *shrugs*

I made the plot a bit more accessible. It's different colored, and if a name is hidden, you can click on it and it will come to the top. What do you guys think?

That's me, it's around the same as the Dalai Lama, which I found rather unsettling.

Take the test and tell us where you end up, http://www.politicalcompass.org

Interesting point - the lefties outnumber the righties by about 2 to 1 however if you look at politics all the parties are right wing nowadays.

BTW - interesting to see that Vienna is a Autoriarian Leftist - Stalin's got nothing on her.

Another thing that I've noticed (this is also shown on the sites graphs) is that the correlation shows a link between righties being more authoritarian and lefites being liberals.

What's even more entertaining, is that perhaps 1/4 of those whom completed the survey/test probably didn't understand most of the questions.

Economic Left/Right: -5.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.00

im only 16 but i appear to have quite lefty views, as id expect because i seem to be very similar to my parents in this respect, and in a way i suppose i concider them some what of a role model. however, one of my friends appears to be something of a militristic right-winger, and although we get along fine, we have big arguements when he brings up some of his BNP-esque opinions. any advice is welcomed greatly.

(btw cutting all ties with him is not really and option, although sometimes i have seriously concidered this)

 Also, do you believe that at this stage in life, just finished GCSE's, this should be concidered as strongly when choosing friends as say, others would concider important what music or fashion tastes (or even hair colour!!!) people have. just a thought

The BNP is left lol, but they're very authoritarian, and you're very libertarian. If he sits around saying things like "******* should go back to bongo bongo land" then probably best not to associate with him.

I would tend to agree with that. I like the idea of capitalism and don't agree with socialist welfare policies. But other than that I think people should be free to live their life how they want, and the government shouldn't tell people how to live. What people do in the privacy of their own homes is none of my business.
