Anyone?
It depends I think. Like, on how long you've been relatives so to speak. If it's all your life, it's a little strange in my opinion. There's nothing WRONG about it, it's not as if it's incestuous and you're gonna have kids with six legs and no eyes or anything, but the family reaction may be a bit difficult to deal with. At the end of the day though, as long as you're not purposely acting to hurt someone else, and like I said, not sleeping with your sister or anything, make yourself happy, that's the most important thing in every situation.

Ok so say i had been 'related' to this person for 5 years.. and no it was purposely to hurt someone, it was because i really liked this person and they said they liked me too.. its not wrong right?
No it's not wrong I don't think. As long as it's a mutual feeling (And all over the age of consent - not your 9 yr old 2nd cousin ) then forget about everybody else, do what makes you both happy

Nah, I wouldn't say it is in that scenario. To be honest though, who gives a ****? Right or wrong, that's for you to decide. Don't throw a chance away because of what others do or don't think mate.

How is it incest? In no way are we blood related
Your family can't stop you - Could they if it was just a bloke from college? It's not up to anybody else when it comes to relationships, especially when you're over 16. Like the other poster said, **** everyone else, if you can't stop thinking about him, I'm sure he feels the same and that's way more important than pissing your Mum off for a while.

No it's not, at all.
Fine as long as you are not blood-related any closer than cousin.

(which is not incest before people pounce on me)

As long as not blood related, then do what makes you happy. Screw what the family think.
