can you be sexy if you're not super sexual? like, for example, at dances I feel really uncomfortable "dirty dancing" or whatever you want to call it, and I feel really odd in tarty clothes. I know I'm pretty and friendly... but one of my best male friends told me I was "the least slutty person in the world"... I know that's a compliment.... I guess... but still. I'm also quite into my studies and books and so on, and I don't really like drink (mind you, I live in America right now, so it'd be illegal)... I still go out with friends a lot etc... but I just feel... unsexy. Hmm... any opinions/advice?

At the risk of being called a barefaced liar, I have to say that dressing like a prostitute and the like does absolutely nothing for me. A nice smile beats such things hands down.

Being a tart doesn’t make you sexual, it makes you easy/desperate :p:

Being sexy in a subtle way is the best kind. Overly sexy is too aggressive, too desperate, too “look at me, I’m insecure and need approval from others to validate myself”.

When did we decide that we were going to conform to anyone else's ideals? That kind of thing drives me insane.

If a girl goes out wearing considerably more clothes than the other girls then obviously she is a lesbian.

If she chooses not to grind on a guy, then not only is she a lesbian, she is a snooty so-and-so.

What is that about?!

I say go out in what you are comfortable in and do what makes you comfortable.

The kind of guy a "tarty" girls pulls, well he is rarely going to be prince charming. So if you want to play around and be played, then that is definitely the way to go.

If not, do what you want. Sexy? State of mind. No one can take that away from you. How you choose to act on it is up to you.

Sexiness is better than prettyness any day of the week, don't really know how you can be sexy though, its just a "look" really, and I reckon if you force it you'll just end up looking ridiculous. You either have it or you don't basically :smile:
