    Firm choice: UMIST
Course: International Management with French BSc
    Offer: ABB (B in French)

    Insurance: Manchester
    Course: European Studies - French
    Offer: BBB including French

I know there going to be the same uni in October but they're different courses and all my other offers apart from Manchester were higher or the same as the one from UMIST.

Comments: I have my heart set on going here now, so if I don't make the grades I will be DEAD annoyed.

    Insurance: Nottingham

    Offer: ABC/BBB

    Declines:
Durham (Grey), Philosophy, ABB (not great accomodation, all catered and travel expenses)

    Firm: Brighton
    Course: Business and e-commerce
    Offer: 240 points
Comments: 240!!! Sooo stupidly low. But i like the course they offer there, and its 4 years with a work placement, so thats good

    Insurance: Bournemouth
Course: Something with business and computers in (can't remember the title)
    Offer: 240 points
Comments: Why do they expect so little of me??? Its boring there, but i've got relatives i can scrounge off, so its a reasonable insurance offer (not that its at all useful).

Declined: Westminster (120 points), Swansea (i think it was something like 260 or something), Surrey (Can't remember. Told them not to bother 3 times, but still sent me an offer).

    Firm: Liverpool University
    Offer: 240 tariff points
    Course: Orthoptics BSc

Heehee, yay! Even if I dropped all my A2s and got an E in AS Psychology this year I'd still get that!

    Insurance: Liverpool University
Offer: B in any one of Biology or Chemistry; C in Psychology; C in Maths
Course: Zoology with Evolutionary Psychology BSc

You can tell I want to go to Liverpool, can't you? Insurance is higher than my offer so I shouldn't theoretically need it!

Declines: Bangor (Biology with Media Practice - seemed attractive at the time but have since discovered it isn't as well regarded as a straight Journo degree  )
Edinburgh (Zoology - waaaah, I love the city soooo much but it's just too cold - my feet wouldn't cope )
Nottingham (Zoology - rejected, but hahaha I care not! )
Sheffield (Orthoptics - they wanted a B in Maths and my retakes still came out at a C overall, and I just didn't want to as I liked Liverpool so much better.)

Ye Gods doing the UCAS reply was nerve-wracking!

My daughter's now got all her replies, 1 rejection (Edinburgh) and 5 unconditional offers for English & History of Art (with ABCc). She's almost certainly rejecting Leicester, UEA, Southampton & Oxford Brookes and going for Loughborough as her firm choice.
