I expect it is reasonably high on two pieces, then the rest is pass marks or just above pass marks...

My results came in:

Grade 8 Piano: 127 / 150

Piece 1 (Shostakovich): 27 / 30
Piece 2 (Beethoven): 26 / 30
Piece 3 (Takemitsu): 28 / 30

Scales: 17 / 21
Sight Reading: 18 / 21
Aural Tests: 11 / 18 (Oops!)

I am very pleased, but also a little disappointed and wish I could've pulled out three extra marks! A scale that usually goes well didn't on the day which was sad, and with a vocal range of about 1.5 notes I knew I was doomed on the aurals, but not to that extent, lol! Still, I am really pleased with the mark breakdown for the pieces and hope to move onto DipABRSM whenever I can! :wink:

Piece 1 (Bach): 21/30 - surprised, thought I was good at it :s-smilie:

Piece 2 (Beethoven): 25/30 - EXTREMEEEEELY surprised - can't play it for ****!
Piece 3 (Debussy): 25/30

Scales: 14/21
Sight Reading: 13/21 (well it was in 7 8...)
Aural: 15/18

Gives me a grand total of 113/150....

Well I did have tonsillitis and was drugged up on Codeine :P
