We fully support the actions of the Turkish government. Georgia sees this latest incident of Syrian helicopters approaching Turkish airspace as a deliberate escalation of violence orchestrated by Damascus. Georgia reiterates its view that al Assad should immediately go and proposes that the MUN considers expelling Syria from the MUN until al Assad has left power, it is unacceptable that we should have representatives of such a tyrannical regime sitting amongst us.

Kyrgyzstan hopes the current conflict in Syria can end as soon, and with as little bloodshed, as possible.

President Assad is aware he has outstayed his welcome and Kyrgyzstan condemns his actions.

Although we urge turkey not to attack Syria, Kyrgyzstan feels turkey has a right to self defense, should their civilians be put at risk by neighbouring Syria.

The MHoC is deeply concerned by these latest developments and we view them as a sign of the conflict escalating. We support our Turkish allies and will be consulting NATO about these latest developments.
