I dont have anything against homosexuality per se, but I'm not sure I'd want that stuff taught in schools...
Reply 2
Yes i do. Clause 28 is ridiculous.

No to homosexuality.
I dont approve of homosexuality. personally i think god has given us plenty of hints as to why it is not allowed...for example...positive is opposite to negative...therefore positives attract...whilst smae charges repel eg negative and negative... same principle applies to the human being men and men...or women and women it should not be. I do not mean to be rude or to offend anyone in anyway...im just putting my thoughts across on the matter

Homosexuality is ok by me...aslong as there is no gay sex happening infront of me. And they dont teach you HOW to have gay sex in schools do they...they didnt teach us anyway...it is sorta obvious...

If someone expresses concern about not knowing how to do it, it's obviously not obvious, then is it.

I very much approve of it and I suppose it should be taught on equal terms as heteorsexual sex, after all, it has risks too, like any type of sex.

(Having said that I think that primary school is marginally too young for sex education as it is now, heterosexual or otherwise).

it's fine by me just don't flaunt it at me cos as long as the dont make it compulsory i'm happy, two of my dance teachers are gay and they're really nice, who you love doesn't make you a bad person, just happy

Aren't there fewer risks to straight sex?

I'm completely fine with homosexuality. A lot of my good friends are either gay or bi and I have absolutely no problem with it.

However, it's something I wouldn't want taught to me in school.

I asked my lady friend this question and she said she's fine with homosex, just not with teaching her future kids that.

This is what I refuse to understand. People state that they don't mind at all about homosexuals, like it's something completely normal - however they don't want their kids to be taught it. So if homosexuality is normal, then you are denying your kids an education of the normal world around them - by not teaching them the wonders of "potting the brown ball" as someone put it.

I don't think its a matter of approving or not.

It just is what it is. These people can't help it.

I think they should mention it in school but no need to go into big details.

If everyone had the same attitude as you we would do nothing about things that "just are what they are". Like terrorism - hey mention it at school but don't tell my kids whether or not it's bad !!!!!!

Im not against homosexuality, but i dont think its necessary to teach the gory details in schools. However, things such as the added risks of STIs from anal sex etc need to be highlighted to students in sex ed. All this putting condoms on a banana is just ridculous.

Considerably more *hem hem* PREGNANCY?

It doesn't even matter though... any risk at all is enough to validate some sex ed on the subject.
