allergy question

I have a allergy I have had red patches under my eyes but I got this cream from my gp and its gone away but how do I find out what caused it? I think its the aftershave so should I put a bit on and see if they go red again? If not how do I find out??

Put a bit of aftershave on and then try not to put anything else on your face or eat anything unusual. Then it you get a reaction it is likely to be that.

If it's not the aftershave (though the fact it's under your eyes would suggest it's some cosmetic or other) you can get tested for allergies at health food type shops, your GP might do it too (don't know for sure though).

Sometimes you'll have a once off reaction to something and it will never happen again, so it's nothing to be too concerned about if it's the first time.

doctors are useless when it comes to allergies, they give u treatment in the hope that itl work but never really know what they are treating! i reckon you should put a little bit of aftershave on, and wait to see the effects! xx
